Since 1955, we have continued Walt Disney's legacy of sharing magic with our community. Over the years, that magic has touched the lives of millions of people and connected our communities in countless ways.

Our cast, crew and Imagineers actively give back by volunteering their time and talent to strengthen the neighborhoods in which they work and live. As a company, we also partner with local, national and global organizations to support programs that benefit children and families.

Environment/Conservation

Environmental stewardship has been an important component of our business since Walt Disney developed Disneyland. Building on this legacy, we are making concerted efforts to embed environmental stewardship into the daily decisions and actions of our cast, crew, Imagineers, and even our guests. In 2009, our company took a proactive approach, unveiling an array of environmental goals to manage our impacts and inspire our guests, including conserving water, energy and ecosystems; reducing waste and greenhouse gas emissions; and inspiring others to take action for the environment.

Disney VoluntEARS

A tradition of community service has long been a hallmark of our company culture. The Disney VoluntEARS program provides opportunities for cast, crew and Imagineers to continue this tradition and contribute their time and expertise toward making a positive impact in their communities. Thousands of hours are dedicated by Disney VoluntEARS to support hundreds of projects across the globe every year.
